ABOUT THE BOAT

Craig Bailey has been driving and developing his boats with Australian boat builder Peter Dukic since 1993, in that time countless APBA and F1 Championships have been raced and won.

Now, as a 7 x National F1 Champion and still the only Australian to ever win a round of the UIM F1 World Series, the pair have come up with the latest design branded , the EXTREME Hull.

Built on the Gold Coast and designed by both Peter and Craig, the boats are a result of many boats built over the years and research conducted by Craig on the World F1 Circuit.

Using the latest composite technologies as well as design ideas, the boat is proving itself to be a winner with some already being exported to overseas markets.

The boat is constructed of a combination plywood and carbon fibre composite materials. It is a catamaran style hull powered by a 2.5 litre fuel injected Mercury outboard race engine. Using four bladed propellers the engine produces around 400hp at 10 000 rpm , propelling the boat to speeds in excess of 220 km/h . The driver is strapped into a cockpit designed and made to similar specifications as Formula one cars.
